Active Membership

The active members of this organization shall be accepted from any political subdivision within the State of Missouri. Active members shall be responsible in some manner for the formulation or interpretation of codes and ordinances, zoning enforcement and shall encompass fire department officials, inspectors and building officials.

Associate Membership

Associate membership shall be restricted to persons whose position are connected with or concern the official activities of the Active members of this association. Associate members may attend the regular meetings of this association and may be a member serving a committee but may not vote or hold office within this organization. Application for such membership shall be in writing and approved by a majority vote of the membership at the next regular scheduled meeting of the membership.

Honorary Membership

Honorary membership shall be restricted to those persons who, as an active member, rendered meritorious service to the organization or to the field of building inspection or fire protection. Honorary members shall be exempt from dues and shall be awarded such membership by a 3/4 vote of a quorum
meeting of the active members.
